Before becoming a home inspector, I spent over 20 years managing and supervising government construction projects worldwide. My experience includes overseeing overseas assignments, leading teams in refurbishing U.S. government buildings, including the interior office spaces of U.S. embassies. Working closely with foreign laborers and experiencing diverse construction practices firsthand has given me a deep, well-rounded understanding of building methods across different regions. HOURS OF OPERATION - I am available seven days a week, from dawn to dusk. For those with busy weekday schedules, I also offer early evening inspection slots. As long as there’s enough daylight to thoroughly inspect the exterior, I’ll be happy to accommodate your needs.

ALWAYS ON TIME - I always arrive at your prospective home 30 minutes early to complete the exterior inspection and begin my reporting. When you arrive, I'll be ready to guide you through every nook and cranny of the property. To ensure a thorough and detailed inspection report, I kindly ask that you arrive at the scheduled time and allow me to work undisturbed during this initial half-hour.

ACTUAL TOUR GUIDE - You will walk through your prospective home right alongside me, giving us the opportunity to assess its condition together. This is your time to ask questions, gain valuable insights, and fully engage in the discovery process. By the end of the inspection, you’ll have a clearer, more confident understanding of the property you’ve chosen.

HIGH TECH EQUIPMENT - I never guess when it comes to my findings. To ensure accuracy, I utilize advanced technology, including an infrared (thermal imaging) camera. My tool bag is fully equipped with state-of-the-art instruments such as natural gas and carbon monoxide leak detectors, a digital inspection snake camera for examining heat exchangers and other hard-to-reach areas, temperature sensors, moisture meters, lasers, and more. These tools allow me to thoroughly inspect your prospective home and confidently verify my findings.

SAME DAY REPORT - You will receive a highly detailed, comprehensive inspection report immediately following your home inspection—on the same day. My electronic reports are clear, well-organized, and easy to read and understand. The 17-page report is categorized by components, allowing you to quickly find specific details without having to sift through pages of narration and disclaimers. This structured format ensures you can easily locate and review important findings.

MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDATIONS - As part of your home inspection, I provide expert maintenance recommendations to help you protect your investment. These insights will guide you in keeping your home in top condition, from preserving structural integrity to ensuring your mechanical systems run efficiently. I also offer energy-saving tips to help reduce costs and improve your home's longevity. By the end of the inspection, you’ll have not only a clear understanding of your home’s current condition but also practical advice to maintain it for years to come.

FREE HOMEOWNERS GUIDE - Along with your inspection report, I provide a detailed Home Maintenance Manual that offers practical tips, maintenance schedules, and guidelines for preserving your home. It covers everything from seasonal upkeep to critical systems like HVAC, plumbing, and electrical components. Additionally, the final pages include a Life Expectancy List, detailing the average lifespan of nearly every component in your home. My goal isn’t just to inspect your home—I strive to empower you with knowledge so you can confidently maintain your investment and keep your home in excellent shape.

I wanted to thank you for spending the time with us today. I couldn't have been more pleased with your inspection. I was a bit nervous picking someone to inspect the house as it almost seemed like drawing straws (since I had no references to go on), with the possibility that I could draw the short straw, however, I can honestly say that I definitely didn't draw the short straw this round. The level of detail that you put into the inspection really helped lift a huge weight off my shoulders and I am more than confident in your assessment of the house.
